Q. Are Little Buttons Cloth nappies reliable?
A. Yes. If changed regularly and used correctly Little Buttons Nappies are as reliable as disposable nappies. I have actually found Little Buttons nappies can be more effective in containing poo explosions because of our unique Super SnugŠ back elastic, and our snug fitting led casings.
Q. Are Little Buttons Cloth nappies easy to clean?
A. Yes. Little Buttons Cloth Nappies do not require soaking, if soiled, a quick scrub is all thats required, and then wash as normal.
Q. What about the yuk factor?
A. If you are worried about the yuk factor of scrubbing nappies, then buy a cheap set of rubber gloves and a long handled dish scrubber from your supermarket.
Q. How many Little Buttons Cloth Nappies will I need?
A. Newborn/infant I would recommend 16 nappy changes (16 Premium Pockets or 16 Pop!-Naps and 5 Pop!-Covers).
6 months on you will probably only need 12 nappy changes (12 Premium Pockets or 12 Pop!-Naps and 4 Pop!-Covers).
You will need to wash your nappies everyday, to ensure you have enough dry nappies for the following day. Some people prefer to buy more nappies so they only need washing every other day.
Q. What about Nappy Rash?
A. Nappy Rash is caused by infrequent nappy changes whether you are using cloth or disposable nappies. To prevent Nappy Rash ensure your baby's nappy is changed at least every 3-4 hours during the day.
Q. Can Nappy Rash creams be used with Cloth Nappies?
A. If you need to use Nappy Rash creams we recommend you use a nappy liner in your Little Buttons Cloth nappies, as most nappy rash creams will leave a residue which can impede absorption on the Nappy.
Q. Can Little Buttons Cloth Nappies be used at night?
A. Yes, Little Buttons Nappies can be just as reliable at night as during the day. The trick to using Cloth Nappies at night, is to adjust the absorbency to suit your baby which may take some trial and error. If your baby is a particularly heavy wetter, you may like to try a Bamboo or Hemp insert as these two fabrics are very absorbent and very trim (so you can put more layers into the nappy). Both Hemp and Bamboo take at least twice as long as microfiber to dry. |
